ARTEMIS II EXPLORATION PROGRAM 2024-2025

Returning to the moon on behalf of all humanity with NASA's Artemis II space program is a cause for celebration and pride. Announced to be in 2024, finally, the mission takes off in SEPTEMBER 2025, and with the FROG300 NASA 25, you can be part of it too

This special and numbered edition of the OX Oceanix FROG300 NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration), limited to 254 units (launch of the Orion exploration spacecraft in 2025 + 4 crew members), pays homage,  to the ARTEMIS II mission that will mark a "before and after" in 2025, with the first crewed launch of the ARTEMIS project, returning to the moon with the Orion Spacecraft - the last time humans set foot on the moon was in 1972, 52 years ago.

ARTEMIS II OVERVIEW

During Artemis II, four astronauts will fly around the Moon to test NASA's foundational human deep space exploration capabilities, the Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft, for the first time with crew.

The approximately 10-day flight test will pave the way for lunar surface missions, including landing the first woman and first person of color on the Moon.

Through Artemis missions, NASA will establish long-term lunar science and exploration capabilities, and inspire the next generation of explorers -- the Artemis Generation. More about NASA Artemis II, clic here.

This FROG300 utilizes a 45mm sandblasted titanium  grade 3i eccentric case. It features the 9075 automatic caliber 'made in Japan,' signed by MIYOTA® (Citizen® group), with a 'True' GMT function that allows us to view and adjust by jumping hours complication two different time zones independently, one of them in a 24-hour format. It has an advanced unidirectional Diver's bezel protected inside the case, which also allows time adjustments through an advanced 'Dive Time' crown, that it works underwater too. The watch is equipped with a double-curved sapphire crystal with blue anti-reflective treatment on the inner side. It utilizes a helium valve to ensure 100% funcionality up to 300 meters, complying with the ISO 6425 standard for professional saturation diving watches, providing an excellent daytime and nighttime legibility thanks to the best Super-LumiNova® luminosity. With a very short lug-to-lug distance of only 44mm (fitting perfectly on any medium-sized wrist) and a highly flexible and resistant fluoroelastomer FKM strap, the FROG300 is truly comfortable to wear. Additionally, it features a specially designed OX® clasp that allows micro-adjustments and quick removal of the watch by pushing two buttons. And of course, it includes the ID+SYS™ Emergency Data System integrated into its caseback.

In honor of the most important constellation that navigators and humanity have relied on since ancient times to reach their destination, ORION is the name given to the spacecraft of the ARTEMIS program, which will depart for the moon in 2025 for the second time in human history. The dial of the FROG300 pays homage to this historic feat with a special dial that recreates the famous constellation with luminosity.

NASA LIMITED EDITION ARTEMIS II

This Diver's watch comes in a special packaging, with a dual strap (both featuring references to the destination of this new space exploration). But there's more: its unidirectional bezel, with a red 'Countdown' bezel and markings at 10 seconds, or its dial with a background where we can observe the constellation of Orion at night, will make us proudly wear on our wrist a small part of this incredible and vital exploration mission that involves all of humanity.

WHY A DIVER'S FOR NASA ?

Our OX FROG300 is a sincere tribute filled with admiration for all the astronauts who receive training at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. It's an incredibly rigorous training where they familiarize themselves with and acquire skills in their space suits and related activities, immersed in enormous training pools. Therefore, all astronauts are expert divers, making the existence of a FROG300 Diver's NASA even more meaningful.

At that training facility, qualified professional divers work daily, providing support to the astronauts in training. This version is also inspired by them, as a genuine recognition of their work.
