The first OX® FROG300 units, a pre-series for testing, adjustments, and specialized press, were successfully assembled this August. The next step is moving into full production mode. Here’s a glimpse into our day-to-day progress!
INTRODUCING THE REAL MODELS
As mentioned in a private email (to proud owners), the first units for testing and validation, among other specific uses, were assembled in August. There's already a video showcasing the FROG300 in action, which you can check out here (if you haven't already). Soon, we’ll have the first official underwater presentation ready, in both English and Spanish, fittingly in its natural environment (up to 300 meters, 30 ATM depth).
WHAT WE’RE DOING NOW...
Right now, we’re fully focused on preparing for production, including minor adjustments to your Pro Diver’s tool-watches. The first real units are powerful and impressive when seen and touched in person, and the general consensus is that they are a true reflection of the 3D renders you have in mind or see on the website or Instagram.
As you know, at OX®, we pride ourselves on sincerity, closeness, and transparency. We’ve been together with many of you for several months now!
That’s why we’re sharing that we’ve identified an improvement to be made with the pre-series. Specifically, we’re creating a new mold for the FKM straps, which will now feature a curvature and an insert to avoid the current gap. We strive for perfection and want the best for each of our proud owners! As for the rest of the FROG300, everything has gone according to recent plans, and that’s not just good—it’s great!
OUR DAY-TO-DAY IN SHENZHEN
Staying true to our goal of delivering a watch that is a game-changer in the tool-watch segment, and specifically a Diver’s watch, we are now focused on initiating production, which involves the manufacturing and machining of the case and components, all of which are of top-tier quality.
Just a few days ago, I visited the external section where the dials and internal Dive Time bezel are printed to ensure the first pieces meet the maximum quality standards set by OX®—that’s me, personally. With a notable magnifying glass, I reviewed the prints, and my references from some video reviews confirmed that we are on the right track. High quality and an eagerness to deliver the first fully assembled units.

Why does everything seem so complicated in a FROG300?
The FROG300 doesn’t use a single screw from the watch or auxiliary industry: everything, absolutely everything, has been designed from scratch and is being manufactured from scratch, except for the premium automatic caliber Miyota® 9075, which is only assembled and manufactured in Japan.

All indications point to the FROG300 establishing itself as what it truly is: the precursor to a new generation of tool watches, and in this case, a Diver’s watch. Today, it’s an essential part of a diver’s auxiliary or safety equipment. While a diver uses a dive computer as their primary tool, they can have absolute confidence in our FROG300, which is as tough as they come and virtually indestructible to a depth of 300 meters in its essential functions of Dive Time, Local Time, and GMT.
The first review with real testing models, which we can also call 'prototypes', will be available this Tuesday, September 3rd, at 11am CEST on the prestigious specialized media FRATELLO. And we say “we can see it” because the surprise will be shared—at OX®, we haven’t had access to any draft prior to publication.

On the website, in the 'About Us' section, we introduce you to the production team and, we explain why we proudly manufacture in Shenzhen. The website has been completely updated, and for now, it still features the 3D images of the models for a basic reason: they are 99% faithful to the final real model.
THE FROG300 IS (AND WILL BE) LIMITED PRODUCTION
This was a strategic idea based on resources—and above all—on maintaining absolute control over production in terms of quality and service. The maximum number of production units per year will be 2,000 worldwide, plus occasional limited editions.
Unfortunately, we won’t be able to make everyone happy who wants a FROG300—only a lucky few. But with that, we ensure a controllable manufacturing process so that each assembled unit reaches its proud owner’s home with all the guarantees of excellence that, honestly, we’re really starting to practice.
The current hype around the FROG300 is powerful, and our commitment is even greater. We greatly appreciate the tremendous response from hundreds of owners who are standing by us and those who are joining the OX® FROG300 project daily. We’re starting this new month in 'production mode', eager to begin delivering the first units to their owners as they come off the line, in strict order of purchase date.
